Pesta Blogger 2010

Yay! it's here again..

Really want to attend since I've never attend to this kinda event before. I have a blogs (yeah.. I have several of it).

Curiosity. That's the exact word how to describe why I'm so eager to come to this event.

Well, who doesn't? I might be not an active blogger or had hundreds of followers on my blog, but that's not my intention when I started a blog. All I want to write about everything. I really don't care if someone out there read or visit my blog or not.

Last year, I just couldn't bring my baby to that very crowded event, therefore I had to cancelled it.

This year, hopefully she'll be able to sit quietly and well behave. Finger crossed.

Re-fashion

It's been 2 months after I got a sewing machine as birthday present from my husband, I pledged myself to learn how to use it.

I re-opened all the bookmark about tutorial for beginner (to use sewing machine).

I screamed.

I took a deep breath.

I laughed.

and

Jumped all over the room once I managed to sew something (in a right way- according to the tutorial -with straight stitches) for my baby D.

I found this Japanese craft tutorial and eager want to know what they write in there. First, I had to install the Google translation.

Those creation are so neat! ^_^

I really loveee it. I had tried to download the pattern (it's free by the way) and I had to scratch my head for so many times since the drawing pattern is in Japanese and the Google translate not be able to translate what's on the picture. *_*

Picky eater

Today is one of those days that I want to try something. This time, I want to do some experiment with my cooking. Having a toddler, you have to be creative in choosing and creating a meal. Otherwise, it'll be ended up on the floor as they throw it away.

My 17-months-old-toddler is really picky.. menu. She love to eat veggies BUT the menu should be right. It's more challenging. I made my own research on baby/toddler/kids meals. She really challenge me to create (or invented) new meals everyday.

Daily, at least I need to have 3 different meals for her (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Tough isn't it?

And today, I really thank you for those in my head, who gives me several ideas of new recipes.

Earth Hour

It's Earth Hour. I've read and seen the publicity everywhere. As in Indonesia, it'll be on 20.30 till 21.30 at night. I guess it's going to be a Dark Saturday Night.

But.. It's not as expected. When we (me, hubby & our daughter) take a ride around our neighborhood just want to see how dark it is. We found it quite surprise. It's not dark at all. Nope. Well, there's some houses.. only a very few.

I am not sure, are they didn't aware about it? Or they didn't know? Or didn't care??

At least, I did my part.

Bubur Tim Bayi

Dari segala varian bubur tim yang ada, anak saya paling favorit dengan yang satu ini. Promina Bubur Tim rasa Ikan Salmon dan Saus Jeruk. Rupanya hal ini tergantung 'lidah' dari anak masing-masing.

Penasaran akan rasanya, saya mencobanya dan memang rasanya enak. Rasa ikannya terasa, sampai amisnya itu lengket di piring..

Secara keseluruhan, review ini lebih berdasarkan selera anak saya. Selama dia mau makan, maka saya dengan senang hati bilang produk ini layak untuk dicoba.

Tolak Angin

Saya baru mencoba obat herbal ini termasuk rada telat. Baru setengah tahun yang lalu. Pertama kali mencoba saat badan saya meriang, dengan di campur dengan jahe, obat herbal ini cukup manjur.

Badan saya jadi hangat dan tidur dengan nyenyak. Besoknya saya minum 1 sachet lagi dan badan jadi enak.

Sejak itu, obat herbal ini adalah pertolongan pertama kalau saya mulai merasa meriang. Efek hangat di badannya itu yang membuat saya suka.

Good Day ... Coffee

I love coffee... I usually can drink 3 cups per day but now I cut back to reduce caffeine since I'm still give breastfed to my 16 months toddler.

Today, I only drink 1 cup per day and it is black-thick-coffee. Oh No No.. I switched it to instant coffee with flavors. After surfing (and buying and tasting) at coffee aisle in supermarket, I found brand "Good Day" is more acceptable than others.

Define "acceptable", please. Well, I'm not professional coffee taster only as customer. I found the taste of coffee is not too sour and safe for my gastric.

I just found out that this brand has new variety, Good Day Coffee Freeze. You can add with cold-direct from your fridge-water then add some ice on it and Voila! You have a nice cold drink on a hot day.

Review : Taste not as good as Good Day Mochacino (this is previous variety flavors 3-in-1 coffee).
